凡是RMVB格式的电影、动漫等外文资源，其件内已经压制了中文字幕。
而AVI或MKV格式的资源，是需要另外添加字幕的。字幕文件可以在一些专门提供字幕的网站里下载，下载时注意影片的版本，字幕要与影片资源的版本相对应。
有时，我们也会连同影片资源一起发布字幕文件的压缩包(RAR)，并在下载链接中注明是什么语言的字幕。
字幕的添加方法：
字幕文件一般为 (.idx .sub) (.srt) (.ssa) (.ass) 后缀的文件，你需要把字幕文件的文件名改成和电影文件名相同。

如电影文件名为 范海辛.Van.Helsing.2004_CD1.avi ，那么字幕文件为就要改为 范海辛.Van.Helsing.2004_CD1.idx 和 范海辛.Van.Helsing.2004_CD1.sub 。
如果是(.srt) (.ssa) (.ass)后缀的就改成 范海辛.Van.Helsing.2004_CD1.chs.srt ，其中 .chs 是说明字幕是什么语言的。

另外，你的播放器也要有播放字幕的插件。当然，用暴风影音就可以播放了。


电影资源中，一般来说AVI的比较清晰，RMVB的影片质量差一些。但都取决于片源的质量。最好的是HDTV，之后是DVD-9(DTS)，再后是DVD-5，最后是VCD。

其中DVD版转压的影片又可分为DVDrip DVDScr TC TS几种。质量依次下降。
其中TS就是枪版，画面和声音都不好，是质量最差的，但出现的时间最早。
TC是胶片版，就是从电影胶片上直接录制的，质量不错，但画面亮度不足，有些昏暗。
DVDScr是从商家用于商业促销的碟片中转换压缩的，其质量比TC略好，但和最终版DVD还有一定差距。
DVDRip就是最终版的，其质量是可以保证的。
有些资源是从HDTV(高清电视资源)转化的，其质量还要好于DVDRip，值得收藏。
