如果是翻译项目经理或语料数据库资源开发商，那就有用武之地了！译员、本地化工程师，翻译项目或本地化项目经理，随着不断的实践和学习，不断地积累各专业的翻译语料资源和术语资源，翻译效率必将大大提高！如果你是只从事翻译散文、小说或诗歌的译员，就不要在这方面下功夫了，原因你更清楚，呵呵！
从事翻译职业或越来越吃香的本地化工程师，language technology is not optional but necessary!只要具备良好的外语水平，学习使用相关的工具软件，不断扩展职业的发展空间，语言水平是主要的，这不是短时间内可以提高的，软件使用技术可以借助一个技术环境和平台迅速提高，译员出了翻译一般的文档之外，也可以翻译网址、数据库、ppt、flash、电子表格、工程图纸格式、专业出版片格式文档等，进而学习软件汉化，也是自然的一种职业延伸！别让有些“软件开发精英”的话吓唬了，印度的外包之所以发达，就是代码工人很普及，国内就不一样了，凡是能和代码打交道，和外语打交道的人，都有点神秘，其实TMD都是工人阶级，CAT技术在翻译和本地化行业内不过是小米加技术，学习学习，实践实践就明白了！如果有机会进入到技术平台不错的公司做一段时间，或实习一段时间，就有所认识了！
